Weather-resistant PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) painted steel products

  • Product Description, Features, and Applications

Product Description

This product uses high-performance polyvinylidene fluoride resin (or fluorocarbon resin), and uses a double-sided two-coat, two-baking (2C2B) topcoat with a KYNAR500 or HYLAR5000 content of 70% or more; while the substrate can be either hot-dip galvanized or aluminum-zinc coated painted steel (i.e., the coating system is the same, but the substrate is different).

Product Features

  1. Excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and solvent resistance
  2. It is not easily corroded by various acids (such as acid rain) or alkalis, and is not damaged by ultraviolet rays.
  3. It has good stain resistance, excellent processability, colorfastness, and low maintenance costs.
  4. Because it uses highly weather-resistant ceramic pigments, the coating has a low gloss, typically around 25% (60 degrees).
  5. Under normal conditions, its service life can reach 20 years.

use

  1. Construction: Buildings designed for harsh outdoor environments, such as roofs and exterior wall panels, especially high-sloping roof structures or massive buildings, requiring resistance to air pollution and durability in areas with strong sunlight.
  2. Transportation industry: vehicle exterior panels, highway signs, etc.
  3. Other: Protective panels requiring durability, and partitions in hospitals, electronics factories, laboratories, etc., requiring corrosion resistance and stain resistance.
